Welcome Carrie Clayton as our new student outreach worker! Mrs. Clayton is a familiar face at United. She has been a second grade teacher in the North building for the past 15 years. Mrs. Clayton is married to her husband, Darrin Clayton, and they have two children, Kellen and Kendall. She is the head Volleyball and Track coach for United High School. In her free time, Mrs. Clayton enjoys spending time with her family, going to the park, museums, and various sporting events.
Mrs. Clayton is replacing Ginger Murray that was our school counselor. Mrs. Clayton is currently enrolled in the Counseling program at Western Illinois University and will serve as our Outreach Worker while she is completing the program. As an Outreach Worker, she will provide support to our students and families through classroom lessons, mentoring, and providing resources as needed. We are excited to have a familiar face in this new role!
